Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad to Dandi, at 21 Historic Places Mahatma Gandhi stayed on the road to 'Dandi'. At each location, he met hundreds of people; at some, he rested in the afternoon; at others, he spent the night. He advocated for the use of Khadi, emphasized de-addiction and untouchability, interacted with prominent national people, arranged meetings, and it was during the Dandi March that long-term national decisions were made. The Dandi March carries with it an amazing reservoir of memories.

Mahatma Gandhi and 78 marchers had marched along the ancient Dandi Path. On the same path, you can now walk, cycle, drive, or take the bus. All amenities are now available to meet your needs, including pleasant lodging, meals, and up to 15 'Dandi Path - Yatri Nivas.

Riding a 20 km rally with one hand

The bicycle rally organized by the Gujarat Tourism Corporation from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi is receiving a warm welcome everywhere. Due to the enthusiasm of the villagers, the youth is happily joining the bicycle rally and expressing their joy. At that time, Padhiyar Ravikumar Shambhubhai, who is a disabled student of Kahanwadi Agricultural College. Despite having only one hand, he had to prove his high level of patriotism by joining the bicycle rally from Nadiad Santram Temple to D.N. High School Anand.

The Cycle Rally organized by the Gujarat Tourism Corporation from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi is receiving a universal welcome. Youth is enthusiastically joining the rally. On Tuesday, the cycle rally left Anand for Borsad at 7 am. 63 cyclists joined this rally. The rally was flagged off by TRG Officer K. Ravi Baria of NCC Head Quarters, Vallabh Vidyanagar, and Chairman of Shi Samiti of Anand District Panchayat Sunil Solanki.

Cycle yatra from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi reaches Kheda district

The cycle march from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi reaches Kheda district. The cycle march from Ahmedabad Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi reached Nawagam in Kheda district on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning, the cycle march left from Nawagam Gandhi Smriti Bhavan for Matar, Nadiad. The bikers from Nawagam received the green flag. This Dandi march is progressing enthusiastically from March 12 to April 5. In the third leg of this journey, 74 cyclists enthusiastically joined from Nawagam to Matar.

The cycle march from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi started, 163 cyclists participated.

Mahatma Gandhiji marched from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi on March 12, 1930, to break the salt law. On the completion of 95 years of that historical event, the Tourism Department has organized a cycle march. On Wednesday at 7 am, 163 cyclists started the march from Sabarmati Ashram. They were honored at Gujarat Vidyapith, and from there the first camp reached Aslali. This is the first time such an organization has been organized.
