Nehru Yuva Kendra-Navsari (Ministry of Youth Program and Sports Government of India) and Yatri Niwas Matwad (RK Decorators) managed by Gujarat Tourism Corporation jointly organized National Sports Day at Yatrin Nivas, Matwad. Under this, 100m running race, Kho-Kho and Badminton were organized in which the youth participated with great enthusiasm. The main objective of this program is to make youth aware of sports and keep physically healthy by giving time for sports in their daily life. Acharya Yogesh Gorane of Vinaya Mandir, Dandi, Aaj Shreya of Radio Michi and MyFM were present as the chief guests in this program.
The winning young friends were honored with trophies and certificates. The entire planning and management of this program is under the guidance of District Youth Officer Varsha Rogha, Nimesh Gadum and Jinal Kanani. The program was successful with the support of the Vinay temple, Dandi.

Thanks to the efforts of Administrator Mr. Hemanta Mahant, students from Shri Janki Vallabh College Muval, instructors from MSWMS university, and young people from the community came together to commemorate World Skills Day. The walkers expressed gratitude to the government for removing Article 370 from Kashmir and granting ST status to hill people.

On March 12, Mahatma Gandhi launched the Dandi yatra from the Yatri Nivas in Ahmedabad. On March 13, the famed Dandi yatra moved from Navagam into the Kheda area. Mahatma Gandhi stayed overnight in Navagam on March 13, 1930. To honor Dandiyatra, the schoolchildren from the neighborhood went for a stroll in the village. According to the locals, Mr. Guy, a London citizen, school teachers, pupils, and citizens all joined while traveling through Dandimarg. The personnel of The Dandi Path - Yatri Nivas, Navagam, handled all of the planning.
