Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Navagam Yatri Nivas, honoring the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. The event included a peaceful prayer gathering, where guests and locals paid tribute to Gandhi's principles of non-violence and truth. Students from nearby schools participated in rally and cultural performances and recited speeches highlighting Gandhi's contributions to India's freedom struggle.
On the occasion of "Shikshak Din" at Yatri Niwas Nawagam, a drawing competition, coloring competition, and speech competition were organized for the students of Pay Center Kumar School Nawagam. Prizes were awarded to the top three winners. The head teacher and supervising teacher of the school were felicitated with mementos.
Today, 78th Independence Day was celebrated at Yatri Niwas Navagam with a flag hoisting by Mrs. Manishaben Sanjaybhai Dabhi, the first civilian Sarpanch of the village. Students from local schools presented cultural programs, including patriotic songs and speeches. The event concluded with refreshments provided by Yatri Niwas.

We celebrated International Yoga Day with the elementary school pupils and teachers at Navagam Gandhi Ashram on this occasion.
We observed World Environment Day at the Nawagam Yatri Nivas today. As part of the event, Mrs. Manisha Sanjaybhai Dabhi, the Sarpanch of Nawagam, planted flowers and Tulsi plants. Mrs. Bimlaben Solanki, the President of Kheda Women's Association, also attended and planted trees with the Navagam staff members.
Today, on World No Tobacco Day, the Gujarat Tourism Corporation held a program at Yatri Nivas in Nawagam to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and the importance of quitting. The event highlighted the burden of addiction on families and the need for community support. A rally by local children, who marched with banners and slogans for a tobacco-free future, was a notable highlight.
Today March 13 is the second day of the historic Dandiyatra and the arrival of the Yatra in navagam. Mr. Guy a resident of England came to navagam from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad. He participated in really and program organized by school children to commemorate Dandiyatra.

World Environment Day is celebrated at Yatri Nivas in Nawagam, Kheda taluka, village sarpanch Mrs. Manishaben Sanjaybhai Dabhi was in attendance. Flower and Tulsi saplings were distributed to the local citizens for tree plantation. Ashram caretakers and locals in the area came together to mark this event.

On March 12, Mahatma Gandhi launched the Dandi yatra from the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. On March 13, the famed Dandi yatra moved from Navagam into the Kheda area. Mahatma Gandhi stayed overnight in Navagam on March 13, 1930. To honor Dandiyatra, the schoolchildren from the neighborhood went for a stroll in the village. According to the locals, Mr. Guy, a London citizen, school teachers, pupils, and citizens all joined while traveling through Dandimarg. The personnel of The Dandi Path - Yatri Nivas, Navagam, handled all of the planning.
